EMED needle sets demonstrated superior performance. Penetration force was plotted for various needles. The forces were sampled dynamically to quantify the effect of the penetration of the needle during the insertion of the tip as well as the shaft of the needle.
EMED's Soft-Glide® technology has been incorporated in a new family of SUB-Q safety administration sets branded under OPTFlow®. With comparable flow rates to 24 gauge SAF-Q® administration sets, OPTFlow® 26 gauge safety SUB-Q administration sets provide optimized comfort and flow rate performance.
