EMED Announces the Launch of Soft-Glide™ SCIg Infusion Sets
EMED Technologies, headquartered in El Dorado Hills, California, today announced the completed development and launch of its new line of Soft-Glide™ Subcutaneous Immunoglobulin (SCIg) Infusion Sets.
EMED developed a sub-q needle that addresses the long-standing needle sharpness challenge in subcutaneous immunoglobulin therapy. With its proprietary Soft-Glide™ coating technology, the Company expects patients will notice a meaningful difference in the comfort and consistency of insertions.
The new Soft-Glide™ line will be showcased at the NHIA Annual Conference in Phoenix, April 23–26, where attendees are invited to stop by booth #530 to see the product alongside other developments from EMED.
The launch reflects EMED's continued focus on patient comfort, clinician usability, and incremental innovation in the SCIg therapy experience — a market the Company helped pioneer.
