EMED Announces US Market Clearance for VersaRate® Flow Regulator

EMED Technologies today announced US market clearance for the VersaRate® Flow Regulator, a variable flow rate device for subcutaneous infusion therapy.

VersaRate® obtained FDA clearance in December of 2012 and European and Canadian authorization in April of 2013, enabling broad commercial availability across major markets.

The device provides a practical, intuitive solution for adjusting infusion rates when more advanced pumps may not be available. Its straightforward design, proven reliability, and adaptability have made it a preferred choice in both clinical and home settings — particularly for patients with Primary Immunodeficiency (PIDD, CIDP) and other conditions requiring regular infusions. VersaRate® allows the patient to easily control flow rate with the turn of a dial.
